Since December I have been in contact with Marcos Lopez , editor in OQO Editora in spain. I found that illustration could include another disciplines besides the typical already known. I have an interest on the aesthetic of the illustration, specially the those for kids which are not alike the once I used to come across as a kid.
Marcos explained to mee that as an editor he sees illustration as the first contact and experience for kids with the plastic art/world therefore, illustration should be an educational experience which will help eventually, to develop their artistic skills or artistic sensibility from a visual experience.
I would like to explore illustration as a form of art and try to translate part of their language and narrative into ceramics.
